With a variety of handy tools and great services available, it’s never been easier to travel around by public transport. New technology means you don’t have to wait around at bus stops, many buses and trains now have WiFi on board, cashless ticket options and more!
There are currently a number of frequent bus services running past the new homes at West Meadows to and from Newcastle, Blyth, Gosforth and more. Your closest stops are located on Fisher Lane. As development progresses in the local area and pedestrian routes are enhanced, other local stops at Ealing Square and along the A1172 will become accessible, whilst there are also plans to divert services through the development.
If your journey is over a slightly longer distance, travel by rail can be a great option! Cramlington station can be accessed easily from your new home, in around 30 minutes on foot, 15 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car. There are cycle parking facilities available and a 24 hour car park at the station.
Cramlington is served by hourly services to Morpeth and Carlisle via Newcastle Central. A journey by train to Newcastle city centre will take just 12 minutes and Carlisle can be reached in around 1 hr 40 minutes. Newcastle station gives access to a wide range of local and national destinations, including Durham, Darlington, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and more!
